Students participated in a coastal clean-up on Rangitoto Island, then returned to school with the rubbish collected to make one piece of the final sculpture. The 8 legs came together and the enormous sculpture was displayed at Art In The Dark in Western Park, Ponsonby, Auckland, with this video projecting out of the head of the creature onto a wall.

Huge thanks to Fullers Ferries, Resene Paints, Art In The Dark – Adelle Rodda, and Alexander Bartleet – Artistic Director.
